During this Pandemic, The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sports in partnership with The National Lottery Fund have supported and funded several charitable organisations. LCF received funding for its COVID 19 response programmes through their Coronavirus Community Support Fund.
Corona Exercise Boost
Community health and Wellbeing has been the pinnacle of LCF’s programmes this year. Corona Exercise Boost targets community members of all ages, build and condition. Delivered by a member of the community via Zoom, the Kalatin keep Fit movement become a reality in the face of all the challenges faced.
D&Angel It Consultants LTD
Covid19 dictated the playing field for almost the majority of daily professional and social life. Doing things online and remotely.
LCF partnered with D&ANGEL IT Consultants, a community start up organisation to supply LCF with IT professional Support while aligning the LCF organisational processes to conform with the current IT demanding environment.
Keystone
To deliver a number of COVID response projects and services to the communities, LCF partnered with Keystone Charitable organisation to join hands and reach out to more beneficiaries during the lockdown period.
Woemn in Unity UK
Women in Unity not only encompasses Ugandan Community women but also other women from a across the globe with a shared goal of creating a positive impact within their communities of existence. Together with WIU, LCF’s reach to other communities became much easier through the shared approach.
Lango Association UK
Lango Association UK works with the local communities both in the United Kingdom and Uganda with the aim of eradicating poverty, diseases including HIV and empowering women in their local communities. We believe that it is critical to establish relationship and engage the local communities in our quest to promote better health
